Blessed are the\u00a0poor in spirit<\/span><\/em><\/strong>, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. \u00a0Blessed are\u00a0those who mourn<\/span><\/strong><\/em>, for they shall be comforted. \u00a0Blessed are\u00a0the meek<\/span>,<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0for they shall inherit the earth. \u00a0Blessed are\u00a0those who hunger and thirst for righteousness<\/span><\/strong><\/em>, for they shall be satisfied. \u00a0Blessed are\u00a0the mercifu<\/span><\/strong><\/em>l<\/span>, for they shall receive mercy. \u00a0Blessed are the\u00a0pure in heart<\/span><\/strong><\/em>,<\/span>\u00a0for they shall see God. \u00a0Blessed are\u00a0the peacemakers<\/span><\/strong><\/em>,<\/span>\u00a0for they shall be called sons of God.\u00a0Blessed are\u00a0those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness<\/span><\/em><\/strong>, for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Blessed are you\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/em>when\u00a0people\u00a0<\/b><\/i>insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all\u00a0<\/span>kinds of evil against you because of Me<\/em><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 ~ \u00a0 \u2665 \u00a0 ~\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u271e\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0~ \u00a0\u2665 \u00a0 ~ \u00a0*<\/span><\/p>\n

Sticks and stones may break my bones,
\nBut words will never hurt me.
\nYet, words hurt me when I am alone,
\nWith no one to help me be
\nHappy and to be me.<\/p>\n

People are going to talk
\nBehind my back
\nAs I quietly walk
\nDown the road and back.<\/p>\n

Evil will be spoke against me,
\nAnd I will try to block it out
\nAs I try to be
\nMy best without any doubt.<\/p>\n

There will be those who hate
\nThe belief that I hold dear
\nBut I know my fate
\nJust as I know theirs.<\/p>\n

They will answer one day
\nFor all that they do
\nAnd everything they hurtfully say
\nYet they have no clue.<\/p>\n

Yet I know what that one day
\nWill bring to me and believers all
\nWho believe what One has to say
\nFor we answered His call.<\/p>\n

Our reward brings joy
\nTo our hearts because it is great
\nTo know that glory
\nIs now our fate.<\/p>\n

Those who went before
\nWere treated the same
\nBut they knew the score
\nWas with the one without blame.<\/p>\n

We should all smile
\nAnd hold our heads high,
\nAs we walk our hard mile
\nFor our reward is nigh.<\/p>\n

He will come soon
\nAnd end all the hate.
\nIt may be high noon,
\nBut unbelievers will meet their fate.<\/p>\n

Believers will have eternal life,
\nWith joyous smiles and eternal glory.
\nNonbelievers will have eternal strife,
\nWithin the confines of eternal fury.<\/p>\n

The Cross bore the brunt of the hate, but Jesus still won. \u00a0He beat the persecution and the evil so that we could live in eternity. \u00a0The prophets knew this was coming, and we know that it happened. \u00a0We know the joy and the rewards that await in Heaven, and that should get us through these days of hate and pain.<\/p>\n
