He saw how quickly fame and fortune can tug at you, change your priorities, and cause you to seek the things of this world. \u00a0However, he quickly decided to write about his need for only Jesus, only Christ in his life. \u00a0And for that to be possible, he needed to empty himself of those desires and fill up with what Jesus would want for his life.<\/p>\n<p>In the last two years, God has really taught me through some hard experiences that He is all I need. \u00a0If He is number one in my life, and I thank Him for being Him, I will have an abundant life. \u00a0He didn&#8217;t say a rich life without problems or struggles. \u00a0He said a full life, full of Him. \u00a0He IS all I need!<\/p>\n<p>What does that look like for you? \u00a0Is salvation enough and letting Him be everything to you? \u00a0 If so, then you can pray this simple prayer that I pray every morning: &#8220;Empty to fill, Jesus.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Pretty simple, right? \u00a0But so life-changing! \u00a0What if you and I really emptied ourselves of all that consumes us and let Him work through us? \u00a0What if we really did what we are called to do and died to self? \u00a0Philippians 1:21 says this,&#8221;For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.&#8221; \u00a0To truly live this out, we must have the Holy Spirit to empower us, to enhance the faith we already have, and we must commit our whole life to Jesus. We must have a love for Him and a desire for a transformed life&#8230; and let nothing else matter.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The sole purpose of this life is to serve the Lord Jesus<br \/>\nand to share Him with others.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So today , let&#8217;s make a new commitment! \u00a0Let&#8217;s pray this prayer every morning and ask the Holy Spirit to help us die to self and be completely filled with Him. I&#8217;m excited to see what the Lord will do with us when we are willing!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<span style=\"color: #800080;\">* ~ \u2665 ~ \u271e ~ \u2665 ~ *<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Let us pray<\/em><\/strong>: Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for being our everything! \u00a0Thank You that while we are on this earth, waiting to be with You, that You bless us so with rainbows and flowers and showers&#8230;for the beautiful trees and blue skies and oceans and sand. \u00a0You are so patient with us when we put other things before You. \u00a0But life is so much more amazing when You are first. \u00a0We ask that the Holy Spirit give us the strength to empty ourselves of this world and fill ourselves up with You, to let You shine through us and live through us. Help us to share You with Your people. \u00a0<strong>Empty to fill, Lord Jesus-<\/strong>&#8211;daily we ask this.
