In this is love, not that we loved God, <\/span><\/strong>
\nbut that He loved us and sent His Son <\/span><\/strong>
\nto be the propitiation for our sins. <\/span><\/strong>
\n1 John 4:10<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The KJV substitutes \u201cHerein<\/em> is love\u201d for the phrase \u201cIn this<\/em> is love\u201d at the beginning of this verse. \u00a0Isn\u2019t that a tremendous interpretation?\u2014\u2018Herein, or, in here\u2019 is love…truly nowhere else! \u00a0In God is love…He is love!<\/p>\n

In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself,
\naccording to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace….
\nEphesians 1:5 and 6<\/p>\n

\u201cGod\u2019s unfailing love for us is an objective fact affirmed over and over in the Scriptures. \u00a0It is true whether we believe it or not. \u00a0Our doubts do not destroy God\u2019s love, nor does our faith create it. \u00a0It originates in the very nature of God, who IS Love, and it flows to us through our union with His beloved Son.\u201d ~ Jerry Bridges<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The love of God for you (me, too!) is a fact…an absolute…a given\u2014the Truth. \u00a0I can doubt it, if I choose. \u00a0I can worry about losing it, if I want. \u00a0I can wonder how God could possibly love me, if I want.<\/p>\n

OR, I can believe it<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This God, the Great I AM, my ABBA Father, communicates all throughout the Scriptures of His love\u2014<\/p>\n

  • unfailing (Psalm 147:11)<\/li>\n
  • inseparable (Romans 8:38 and 39)<\/li>\n
  • faithful (Exodus 34:6)<\/li>\n
  • everlasting (Jeremiah 31:3)<\/li>\n
  • unconditional (Luke 15)<\/li>\n
  • compassionate (Psalm 86:15)<\/li>\n
  • merciful (Titus 3:4 and 5)<\/li>\n
  • enduring (Psalm 106:1)<\/li>\n
  • and more; so much more!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Confess these Truths to yourself, my friend…encourage and strengthen yourself in the Truth of God\u2019s love for you! \u00a0Would you, please, do this…Look at yourself in the mirror and remind yourself of the Truth, “God loves me! \u00a0He chose me, actually picked me out for Himself to have a relationship with Him.” \u00a0(Did you say it out loud?) Read through that list of truths that tell of the love of God…and speak them over yourself. \u00a0You are loved by God!<\/p>\n

    Perhaps you can sing along with the Psalmist David,<\/p>\n

    …in the morning I will sing of Your love;
    \nfor You are my Fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
    \nO my strength, I sing praise to You;
    \nYou, O God, are my Fortress, my loving God.
    \nPsalms 59:16 and 17<\/p>\n

    Perhaps you can sing this beautiful song, too; will you…would you try? \u00a0 \u2018Cause He loves us..oh, how He loves us!!!<\/p>\n
