What do you do when that happens to you? \u00a0Is your first\u00a0response to pray, or to complain?<\/p>\n<p>As we walk through our life, God offers us opportunities\u00a0to walk out our faith or to stray from it. \u00a0There are people who watch every move we make. \u00a0These are Christians and non-Christians, new believers and old believers. \u00a0God knows what our choice will be. \u00a0He knows if we are going to search for Him and His leading or whether we choose to walk out our own. \u00a0As we mature and are not afraid to choose Him, we build such a faith and trust that God will not let us down. \u00a0But we have to trust that God will do the best for us. \u00a0It will not line up with the world view.<\/p>\n<p>As you start your week, think on the things of God. \u00a0He will honor our willingness to serve Him. \u00a0It is not our works that please Him, it is <span style=\"color: #38686b;\"><strong>our love and friendship<\/strong><\/span>. \u00a0Just as God loves His people, He loves us the same. \u00a0When He brought out His people from Egypt, He did not take them the short route&#8212;He took them the long way. \u00a0He knew that His people would not be able to go to war against the other nations from the beginning of the journey. \u00a0He knew He would have to help them to develop their trust in Him.<\/p>\n<p>Only&#8230;who wants to wander in the desert for forty years only to die because of unbelief? \u00a0Once those who had not believed they could go into the Promised Land died, God then promoted Joshua; and Joshua took the people on the journey to begin taking the land that God had promised the Hebrew nation many hundreds of years before. \u00a0I want to be like Joshua, I want to profess that my God is more than able to protect and sustain me no matter where I am. \u00a0How about you?<\/p>\n<p>Joshua was able to defeat the enemies and lead God&#8217;s people for many years. \u00a0He loved the Lord and obeyed the\u00a0God throughout his life. \u00a0Joshua never aged, grew weak, or lost his eyesight. \u00a0Because he followed God without question, he lived a very long life before he died and went to be with God and Moses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #38686b;\">* ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ *<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Father, thank You for the men and women we find in the Holy Bible that teach us what it looks like to follow, believe, and trust in You with all of their hearts. \u00a0We want to come into Your presence on that great day and worship You with all that we have! \u00a0You are awesome and mighty to be praised. \u00a0Please bless the women who are seeking You and investing in Your word each and every day. \u00a0In Jesus&#8217; name, amen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Psalms 84:8-12 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; Give ear, O God of Jacob!
