(How about you?) <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #800080;\">I love Jesus, yes, I do; I love Jesus, how about you?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vll-fUC1i-0\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/center><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\">* ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ *<\/span><\/p>\n<p>(Are you be-bopping around the house by now?) \u00a0Every week I have the joy of listening to this song&#8230;well, actually Yancy\u2019s version&#8230;as I sit while my 6 year old granddaughter, Kaylie Joy, has her dance lessons. \u00a0This is the song they are going to use for their tap dance in the recital. \u00a0And the most fun thing is to watch them sing the song! \u00a0It\u2019s been quite a number of times now that they have heard the song&#8230;and they are understanding what they are singing at this point&#8230;too cute! They DO love Jesus&#8230;ummm, how about <span style=\"color: #800080;\">you<\/span>?<\/p>\n<p>Or, really, my question is \u2018<span style=\"color: #800080;\"><em>Since<\/em> you love Jesus, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">how does it show<\/span>?<\/span>\u201d \u00a0As in your relationship with anyone else whom you love, it is not in the constant reiteration or professing of your love but in your actions which prove your love. \u00a0Yes? \u00a0How much more so should it be in our relationship with our Lord? \u00a0He has given us such example of \u2018proof\u2019 of His love and we should be willing to do the same. Jesus said,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands<br \/>\nJohn 14:15 AMP<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The one who has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me.<br \/>\nAnd the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father.<br \/>\nI also will love him and will reveal Myself to him.<br \/>\nVerse 19-21<\/p>\n<p>Jesus was at that time preparing His disciples for His leaving them. \u00a0They didn\u2019t understand Him and questioned Him about it. \u00a0How kind, how compassionate, how loving that their Lord just kept pursuing helping them to get it! \u00a0He knew it would be difficult for them when He had to go and promised them a Comforter, a Helper Who would lead and guide them as He had done. \u00a0He loved them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In fact, this is love for God: to keep His commands.<br \/>\nAnd His commands are not burdensome,<br \/>\n1 John 5:3<\/p>\n<p>Jesus gave them two commands under which all other things He had told them to do would fall.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And He said to him, \u201cYou shall love the Lord your God<br \/>\nwith all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.<br \/>\nThis is the great and first commandment.<br \/>\nAnd a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.<br \/>\nOn these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.<br \/>\nMatthew 22:37-40<\/p>\n<p>So, it would seem to me that to really say \u201cI love Jesus\u201d <span style=\"color: #800080;\">you must be loving<\/span>.
