So! I have briefly read through each of the chapters we will be studying this week in CHRISTLife: Embracing Your True and Deepest Identity<\/em><\/strong>. \u00a0As always, Mrs. Myers shares the Truth and additional godly images that encourage us to say \u201cI AM what God says I am!\u201d \u00a0(Are you more and more believing it? Can you say it wholeheartedly?)<\/p>\n

This week\u2019s chapters are:<\/p>\n

Always A Receiver<\/strong><\/span>…focusing on grace, grace, and more grace!<\/p>\n

1 Corinthians 15:10
\nBut by the grace of God I am what I am,
\nand His grace to me was not without effect.<\/p>\n

New Altogether<\/span><\/span><\/strong>…take God at His Word; and see yourself as the new creation<\/em>\u00a0that He has made you to be!<\/p>\n

Colossians 3:9 and 10
\nDo not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self
\nwith its practices and have put on the new self,
\nwhich is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its Creator.<\/p>\n

Empowered<\/span><\/span><\/strong>…In Christ we have absolutely all the strength we will ever need to do any thing that He calls or commands us to do!<\/p>\n

Philippians 4:13
\nI have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me
\n[I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him
\nWho infuses inner strength into me;
\nI am self-sufficient in Christ\u2019s sufficiency].<\/p>\n

Enlightened<\/span><\/span><\/strong>…No longer do we dwell and walk in darkness! Let your little light shine!<\/p>\n

2 Corinthians 4:6
\nFor God, who said, \u201cLet light shine out of darkness,\u201d
\nmade His light shine in our hearts to give us the light
\nof the knowledge of God\u2019s glory displayed in the face of Christ.<\/p>\n

(And then as we jump into Part Three, Three Pillars of our New Identity)
\nBelonging<\/span><\/span><\/strong>… to God because of His love that accepts us into union with Himself!<\/p>\n

Ephesians 2:19
\nTherefore you are no longer outsiders (exiles, migrants, and aliens,
\nexcluded from the rights of citizens), but you now share citizenship
\nwith the saints; and you belong to God\u2019s [own] household.<\/p>\n

And throughout each of the chapters we study this week, there seems to me to be an underlying message that is communicated throughout\u2014giving praise to God<\/span> <\/strong><\/em>for the Truth of our identity. \u00a0As we continue to look at the facts of just who we are in Christ and faithfully replace the old, negative images (lies) with the Truth and reality of our True eternal, spiritual life.<\/p>\n
