For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, <\/span><\/strong>
\nfrom whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, <\/span><\/strong>
\nthat according to the riches of His glory He may grant you <\/span><\/strong>
\nto be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being, <\/span><\/strong>
\nso that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith\u2014 <\/span><\/strong>
\nthat you, being rooted and grounded in love, <\/span><\/strong>
\nmay have strength to comprehend with all the saints <\/span><\/strong>
\nwhat is the breadth and length and height and depth, <\/span><\/strong>
\nand to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, <\/span><\/strong>
\nthat you may be filled with all the fullness of God. <\/span><\/strong>
\nNow to Him who is able to do far more abundantly <\/span><\/strong>
\nthan all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, <\/span><\/strong>
\nto Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus <\/span><\/strong>
\nthroughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

To me\u2014THIS\u2014is the epitome of being \u201cfilled.\u201d For oh-so-many reasons…let\u2019s take this passage apart\u2014attribute by attribute\u2014and look at each of these ways in which we are filled. Not only here in Ephesians chapter 3 but also in other Scriptures are these images of how God sees us reiterated. Remember: I AM who God says I am<\/strong><\/em><\/span>!<\/p>\n

I am strengthened with power through His Spirit in my inner being<\/em> (verse 16)
\nPhilippians 4:13
\nI can do all this through him who gives me strength<\/p>\n

I have Christ dwelling in my heart through faith<\/em> (verse 17)
\nJohn 14:23
\nIf anyone loves Me, he will keep My word;
\nand My Father will love him,
\nand We will come to him and make Our abode with him.<\/p>\n

I am rooted and grounded in love<\/em> (verse 17)
\nColossians 2:7
\nHaving been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith,
\njust as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.<\/p>\n

I can comprehend the breadth, length, height, depth the love of Christ<\/em> (verse 18)
\nRomans 8:38-39
\nFor I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
\nnor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
\nnor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing,
\nwill be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.<\/p>\n

I can experientially know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge<\/em> (verse 19)
\n2 Corinthians 5:14-15
\nFor Christ\u2019s love compels us, because we are convinced
\nthat one died for all, and therefore all died.
\nAnd He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves
\nbut for Him who died for them and was raised again.<\/p>\n

It is God\u2019s desire to fill us with the fullness of Himself. \u00a0Through the passage above (Ephesians chapter 3) we see how He works that through the Christ in us. \u00a0Through the indwelling Spirit, we can begin to understand these things that \u2018surpass\u2019 our knowledge. \u00a0And because He is able to do \u201dfar more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us!\u201c<\/p>\n

In and through Christ Jesus, we have been filled! \u00a0Filled with all of this…and more! Here are more truths about who we are in Christ! \u00a0Please feel free to add more below in the comments!<\/p>\n

As for me, however, I am filled with powe<\/em>r
\nby the Spirit of the LORD, with justice and courage,
\nMicah 3:8<\/p>\n

And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken;
\nand they were all filled with the Holy Spirit<\/em>, and they continued to speak
\nthe Word of God with freedom and boldness and courage.
\nActs 4:31<\/p>\n

….And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge,
\nthat you may be filled with all the fullness of God<\/em>.
\nEphesians 3:19<\/p>\n

…Filled with the fruit of righteousness<\/em> that comes through Jesus Christ,
\nto the glory and praise of God.
\nPhilippians 1:11<\/p>\n

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,
\nand in Christ you have been brought to fullness<\/em>.
\nColossians 2:9 and 10<\/p>\n

Personally I am satisfied about you, my brethren, that you yourselves are rich in goodness,
\namply filled with all [spiritual] knowledge<\/em> and
\ncompetent to admonish and counsel and instruct one another also.
\nRomans 15:14<\/p>\n

These beautiful Scriptures are my prayer for you (and me, too)…
\nThe God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing<\/em> <\/span><\/strong>[through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing (bubbling over) with hope. Romans 15:13<\/p>\n

For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will<\/strong> <\/em><\/span>in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
\nColossians 1:9<\/p>\n

And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness<\/strong><\/em><\/span> that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
