They bring such comfort to our hearts!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo not be anxious about anything&#8230;.\u201d \u00a0This always reminds me of our Lord\u2019s words in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 6). \u00a0As He ministered to the vast crowd, He said to them:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. \u00a0Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? \u00a0Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. \u00a0Are you not much more valuable than they? \u00a0Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? \u00a0And why do you worry about clothes? \u00a0See how the flowers of the field grow. \u00a0They do not labor or spin. \u00a0Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. \u00a0If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you\u2014you of little faith? \u00a0So do not worry, saying, \u2018What shall we eat?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we drink?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we wear?\u2019 \u00a0For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. \u00a0But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. \u00a0Each day has enough trouble of its own.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Talk about being comforted and encouraged! But, y\u2019know, Jesus\u2019 words to them still apply to us&#8230;He is still encouraging us to \u2018not worry about your life\u2019 and asking the question of us \u2018Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?\u2019 \u00a0His heart is still to guide us along to seeking first the Father\u2019s Kingdom and His righteousness&#8230;and the \u2018all these things\u2019 that we need, and desire, and pray for&#8230;\u2019will be given to YOU as well.\u2019<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.<br \/>\nColossians 4:2<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Jd35-M-xLX4\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
