What does it mean to <em>surrender<\/em>?<\/p>\n<p>The definition of surrender is <em>to give up control of something<\/em>. \u00a0There are many things God has been showing me that I have not surrendered&#8230;to Him. \u00a0When I don\u2019t surrender I am choosing to take control of the situation in my own strength instead of allowing Him to take control. \u00a0When I surrender to God completely I am trusting Him in my situation. \u00a0He is ALWAYS Faithful in every circumstance and every situation.<\/p>\n<p>Why is it so hard for us to surrender? \u00a0I know the hardest thing for me are my boys! And yet God entrusted me\u2014a woman with a checkered past, saved by Grace\u2014with these precious gifts. \u00a0I know that I don\u2019t deserve it. \u00a0But isn\u2019t that just like God&#8230;to give you another chance to do it well? \u00a0And to do it well is my heart\u2019s desire. \u00a0So when I choose to not surrender or hang on to the precious gifts I have been given such as my boys, it is as if I am saying I do not trust the Giver of the gift.<\/p>\n<p>So what is it <strong>you<\/strong> are hanging onto?? \u00a0What is it that <strong>you<\/strong> need to surrender to Him\u2014the Giver of the gift\u2014and give Him complete control over? \u00a0When we choose to surrender our hearts to Him we are showing Him that we trust Him.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In Job 11:13-15 it says,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Surrender your heart to God,<br \/>\nturn to Him in prayer,<br \/>\nand give up your sins\u2014<br \/>\neven those you do in secret.<br \/>\nThen you won\u2019t be ashamed;<br \/>\nyou will be <em>confident<\/em><br \/>\nand <em>fearless<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>I love the last part of that verse\u2026&#8221;then you WILL be<em> Confident and Fearless<\/em>.&#8221; \u00a0That is who I want to be: a woman who lives her life in surrender who lives <em>Confident and Fearless<\/em>. \u00a0<strong>Will <em>you<\/em> join me and surrender all?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong><strong>* ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ *<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Father, my prayer this day for myself and any woman reading this is that we will choose to live a life in surrender and leave it ALL in Your hands. \u00a0All our dreams, all our hopes, all our plans! \u00a0Lord, I leave it in Your hands.
