\"psalmshymnsspiritualsongskjv\"<\/a>For several years I have been praying for something specific—and that prayer is still yet unanswered—but I know without any doubt God is waiting in the wings to answer at just the right moment when \u201cHe is ready\u201d for it to come to pass.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 When I sit and think about when \u201cthat moment\u201d will be, this song always comes to my mind and gives me so much comfort!<\/p>\n

As I sit and wait in what I have named \u201cGod\u2019s waiting room\u201d I open up a book that is sitting on a table in this room, a most wonderful book, \u201cThe Holy Bible\u201d that gives me encouragement and strength while I wait and cry out to Him. These two verses below have given me strength beyond strength during my years of waiting.<\/p>\n

Wait for the Lord;
\nBe strong, and let your heart take courage;
\nYes, wait for the Lord.
\nPsalm 27:14<\/p>\n

O Lord, God of my salvation, when, at night, I cry out in your Presence,
\nlet my prayer come before You; incline Your ear to my cry.
\nPsalms 88:1-2<\/p>\n

When He calls my name to come forward into His presence from the waiting room, I am sometimes scared to meet Him because I know what I want the answer to be,\u00a0 but<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/i>it\u2019s not always what He gives…so I must accept His answer and move forward.<\/p>\n

When I have reached the place where I am willing to accept God’s will\/His answer instead of my own, it is then I have reached the turning point of prayer and have realized it\u2019s not about me. \u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s about God and God\u2019s Will for me! \u00a0<\/em>And it’s then I realize God did indeed “Hear My Heart.”<\/p>\n

Sometimes I feel no one’s ever been in this place before<\/em><\/span>
\n This is hard, and I’m not sure that I can do this anymore<\/em><\/span>
\n I know someday I’ll look back, and all this won’t seem real<\/em><\/span>
\n Lord, right now I need You to know just how I feel<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

When there are no words to say, and no prayer that I can pray,<\/em><\/span>
\n Hear my heart<\/em><\/span>
\n When I don’t have strength to try, and I’ve cried all I can cry,<\/em><\/span>
\n Hear my heart<\/em><\/span>
\n \u2018Cause You know every fear and every doubt I cannot speak<\/em><\/span>
\n You know all the ways I need You and all the ways I’m weak<\/em><\/span>
\n So I’ll be quiet, so You can hear my heart<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Every now and then, I recall a simple phrase or melody<\/em><\/span>
\n It comforts and it quiets, it lifts me up and then it carries me<\/em><\/span>
\n Far above the pain and hurt I think will never end<\/em><\/span>
\n The song speaks words I cannot, and it calms the fears within<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
