And we are in Him who is true\u2014<br \/>\neven in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.<br \/>\n1 John 5:20<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Here\u2019s a few others to look up: Isaiah 7:14, John 1:1,14, 1 Corinthians 3:16, Isaiah 44:24, 1 Corinthians 8:6.<\/p>\n<p>Why is it important that we remember that God is with us through His Son Jesus? Look at Who Jesus is:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Jesus is the Wonderful Counselor<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given;<br \/>\nand the government shall be upon His shoulder,<br \/>\nand His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor,<br \/>\nMighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.<br \/>\nIsaiah 9:5-7<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.<br \/>\nPsalm 119:24<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Jesus is the Lord of life:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I am the Bread of life.<br \/>\nJohn 6:48<br \/>\nI am the resurrection and the life.<br \/>\nJohn 11:25<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jesus is the Lord of all:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">You know the message God sent to the people of Israel,<br \/>\ntelling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.\u201d<br \/>\nActs 10:36<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Jesus is the Prince of Peace:<br \/>\nFor unto us a child is born\u2026Prince of Peace.<br \/>\nIsaiah 9:6<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you.\u201d<br \/>\nJohn 14:27<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Jesus is Mighty God:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The Mighty God, even the Lord, hath spoken,<br \/>\nand called the earth from the rising of the sun until the going down thereof.<br \/>\nPsalm 50:1<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jesus is the Holy One: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the one Israel praises.<br \/>\nPsalm 22:2-4<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,<br \/>\nand knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.<br \/>\nProverbs 9:9-11<\/p>\n<p>Has Emmanuel been your focus during this Christmas season? As it comes to an end and we move back into the busy-ness of life, we will leave the Christmas carols behind but let\u2019s not leave Jesus behind. Let\u2019s take Jesus with us! Jesus is our all-in-all. He is everything we need. Jesus is Emmanuel, God with us. This is what God wants for us in 2014!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #841f37;\">* * * * *<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dear Jesus, I have just scratched the surface of what it means for us to have You&#8212;Emmanuel&#8212;living in and through our lives. As we move into 2014, I pray that we will take time to ponder and learn the depth of this Truth. We are so grateful that You are everything we need!
