Don\u2019t you just love receiving gifts?\u00a0 It makes us so excited when we are given a box with beautiful paper and a bow—and know that whatever is inside is ours!<\/p>\n

I want everyone to think back for a few minutes to \u00a0the \u201cBEST GIFT\u201d you ever received?\u00a0 Now…tell us: what was it?<\/p>\n

I wish I could hear you tell me and to be able to hear the excitement and joy in your voice as you tell about that special gift!<\/p>\n

There was one special Gift that was given to us all that will surpass all the gifts anyone has ever or will ever receive\u2026.\u00a0 That Gift is JESUS!<\/p>\n

But we must remember this gift can\u2019t be ours unless we receive it by faith.\u00a0 It can\u2019t be of any use to us now or in our future unless we receive it<\/span>\u00a0 <\/b>(Matthew 7:8 “For everyone who asks receives<\/strong>; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened)<\/i>,<\/span>\u00a0 open it<\/span><\/b> (Revelation 3:20\u00a0 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open<\/strong> the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.)\u00a0 <\/i>and accept it<\/span><\/b> \u00a0in our heart \u00a0(John 1:12 \u201cBut to all who believed him and accepted<\/strong> him, He gave the right to become children of God<\/em>.\u201d)\u00a0 \u00a0And then we need to make this Gift our own as He meant for it to be.<\/p>\n

Many times,\u00a0gifts we have received over the years become something left on a shelf that gets looked at occasionally, or eventually something that wears out\u2026but this Gift is one that is \u201calive\u201d and is hopefully sought after every day.\u00a0 It\u2019s a Gift that you get to re-open every morning when you open His Word and you get to experience a new part of the Gift given to you from when you first said ‘yes!’ to Him.<\/p>\n

It truly is \u201cthe Gift\u201d that keeps on giving.\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

He was born in Bethlehem they say, there was a star to light the path to where He lay.\u00a0 Rich or poor they came from far and near, cause they’d all heard the reason He was here.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

He was the Son God sent to one and all.\u00a0 Put on this earth, to hang there on that Cross.<\/span><\/strong><\/em>
\n Born to die so we could live. He had the birthday, we got the gift.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

They wrapped him up with gentle hands. God hoped the world would understand.<\/span><\/strong><\/em>
\n Eternal life we shall receive. And all that He asks in return is that we just believe.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

He was the Son God sent to one and all. Put on this earth to hang there on that Cross.<\/span><\/strong><\/em>
\n Born to die so we could live. He had the birthday, we got the gift.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

There’s no way in this world we could repay the miracle He gave us on that day.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
