O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
\nfor His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!
\nPsalm 118:1<\/p>\n

You are my God, and I will confess, praise, and give thanks to You;
\nYou are my God, I will extol You.
\nO give thanks to the Lord, for He is good;
\nfor His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever.
\nVerses 28 and 29<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Don\u2019t you just love that the psalmist begins and<\/strong> ends<\/em> this beautiful psalm with the very same words?\u00a0 And such wonderful words!\u00a0 Are they not similar to words that you and I use when we are praising our Great God?\u00a0 In just a cursory overview with a concordance, I found over fifteen Scriptures with identical wording.\u00a0 In fact, Psalm 107<\/a> uses this phrasing of praise in five separate verses.<\/p>\n

The Almighty God\u00a0is so deserving of every single praise that has ever been uttered since time began…and He will be praised by men and angels throughout eternity.<\/p>\n

Way back, Melchizedek the high priest blessed Abram and\u00a0 praised God saying,<\/p>\n

“Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth.
\nAnd praise be to God Most High, Who delivered your enemies into your hand.”
\nGenesis 14:19 and 20<\/p>\n

And in the endtimes, The Almighty God, The Great I AM along with the spotless Lamb of God will be praised and worshipped continually and throughout eternity.<\/p>\n

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth
\nand on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:
\n“To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
\nbe praise and honor and glory and power,
\nfor ever and ever!”
\nRevelation 5:13<\/p>\n

Think about your own prayers and praises—particularly those that spontaneously come out of a\u00a0 thankful heart.\u00a0 What do you find you praise God for over…and over…and over again?\u00a0 Perhaps you might share it in the comments section below.\u00a0 I look forward to praising our Great God along with you!<\/p>\n
