Haman\u2019s story is coming full circle here, in verses 5-8 of chapter 7 in<\/span> Esther.\u00a0 We\u2019ve talked about Haman quite a bit, haven\u2019t we? \u00a0In chapter 6, we discussed that, while we rejoice in knowing that God will avenge any evil done to us, we should try to look at all people (even Haman) as God sees them.\u00a0 But in chapter 3 we see that just like Haman was a deadly adversary to Mordecai, the Jews, and Esther, so the devil is our adversary.\u00a0 We saw that Haman was the accuser<\/i>, just like Satan.\u00a0 And in verses 5-8 of chapter 7, I am again reminded of the similarities between the two (Haman and Satan), and how, like Haman, Satan is going down! Let\u2019s revisit a scripture I introduced from chapter 3\u2019s discussion:<\/p>\n

Darlene reminds us of an excellent point \u2013 one we should not forget \u2013 \u201cBecause of redemption through Jesus Christ, we are overcomers<\/span><\/i><\/b> in this life\u201d (page<\/span>80). \u00a0 OVERCOMERS<\/strong>!!\u00a0 Hallelujah!\u00a0 Did you see a similar word mentioned in the verses above?\u00a0 Look again.\u00a0 \u201cThey (the brothers, but sisters are included!) overcame<\/b><\/em> him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n

Did you know that through Jesus you have the power to overcome Satan in your life?<\/i><\/b>\u00a0\u00a0 You do!\u00a0 When you belong to Christ, the Holy Spirit resides in you (Acts 2:38).\u00a0\u00a0In other words, you are covered by the blood of the Lamb<\/i>. But what else was used to overcome Satan?\u00a0 The word of their testimony<\/i>. \u00a0That\u2019s your part.\u00a0 Share your testimony.\u00a0\u00a0 This is where some of us get a little discouraged or confused, like we don\u2019t have a powerful testimony to share. \u00a0WRONG!\u00a0 I don\u2019t even know you, but I know your testimony is<\/span> powerful.\u00a0 Your testimony is your story…your life.\u00a0 How God has changed you\/shaped you\/intervened on your behalf.\u00a0 This is how you \u201cdefeat\u201d Satan:\u00a0 You know those reminders that he throws in your face of your past failures? You look him right in the eye and say, \u201cThat\u2019s right, I did those things. But that\u2019s who I WAS. Jesus washed all that garbage away and has forgiven me!\u00a0 I am clean!\u00a0 And now I\u2019m going to tell others how God can turn their lives around, too.\u201d\u00a0 I\u2019ve seen this quote many times and I love it \u2013 ‘your mess<\/b> becomes your message<\/b>; your test<\/b> becomes your testimony’<\/b>!\u00a0 Can I say \u201cHallelujah!\u201d again??\u00a0 Hallelujah!<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s get real.\u00a0 Will we experience trials?\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 Difficulties and obstacles?\u00a0\u00a0 Absolutely.\u00a0 Will that burden look too heavy to bear?\u00a0 Quite possibly.\u00a0 But you are not alone…Almighty God is on your side.\u00a0 He is greater!\u00a0 John is addressing a church about spiritual warfare, false prophets, and the spirit of the antichrist when he reminds them in 1 John 4:4, \u201cYou, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you<\/span> is greater than the one who is in the world.\u201d\u00a0 Do you see that, sisters?\u00a0 The one who is in YOU<\/strong><\/em> is greater than the one who is in the world. \u00a0Through the blood of Jesus, Satan has no claim on you, no hold on you, and no power over you!\u00a0\u00a0 You are NOT hopeless!\u00a0 You are NOT powerless!\u00a0 You ARE a daughter of the King!\u00a0 YOU ARE<\/em> AN OVERCOMER!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Today, what \u201cHaman\u201d in your life is threatening you?\u00a0 What trial are you going through? \u00a0What in your life has set itself against you—the daughter of the King?\u00a0 TODAY, resolve to throw those things at the foot of the Cross and ask God to fight for you!\u00a0 TODAY, change your mindset and claim the victory! \u00a0God will deliver you \u2013 say it out loud \u2013 I AM AN OVERCOMER!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n
