It’s that time of year again when the kids have gone back to school and started playing sports. My nephew, Timmy, has started his football season.\u00a0 So we decided to make shakers to take the game to help cheer him on. This is a great project to do with kids.\u00a0 My son, Tristan, helped me fill up the shakers and my niece, Chloe, helped me decorate them. \u00a0We want to make some NOISE!! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Items needed:<\/strong>
\nConstruction paper
\nMarkers
\nScotch tape
\nScissors
\nEmpty containers with lids.
\nRocks, rice or other fillers<\/p>\n

STEP ONE:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Rinse and dry containers.
\nCover with construction paper.
\nTape in place.
\nDecorate with team name,\u00a0 player’s name and number. Try to use the team colors.<\/p>\n

STEP TWO:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Put rocks or rice in the containers.
\nReplace lid.<\/p>\n

STEP THREE:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

SHAKE! SHAKE!! SHAKE!!! \u00a0\u00a0LET’S MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
