Have you ever wondered just how God made everything? \u00a0 Have you been sitting outside during the summer looking up at the beautiful sky with all the twinkling stars shining like diamonds, the bright moon shining so bright you didn\u2019t need a flashlight?\u00a0 What about walking along the beach as the sun begins to pop up on the horizon with it\u2019s beautiful orange canvas?\u00a0 What about when the skies turn dark and thunder\u00a0is clapping so loud you need earplugs?\u00a0\u00a0 These ladies are some of the many wonders of our Lord from His artistic hands!<\/p>\n

Our God of the universe created all this beautiful artwork and more. As you sit and think on<\/span> these, your mind is captivated\u00a0by ALL the wonders of God\u2019s creations; and yet, in all these things happening around us, there is still MORE!\u00a0 Something even greater that He is molding into being.<\/p>\n

\u00a0His greatest masterpiece of all time = You and Me!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

God created the heavens and earth and He knew it was good, yet there was still something missing\u2026.<\/span>It was US!! \u00a0 \u00a0So He decided He needed to make man in the image of Himself.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 We were created to have fellowship with Him.\u00a0\u00a0 We were not just an after dinner thought<\/span>.\u00a0\u00a0 We were the special finishing touch to His creation!<\/p>\n

Zechariah 2:8<\/b> says \u201dFor thus saith the Lord of hosts; after the glory hath<\/span> sent Me unto the nations which spoiled you; for He that toucheth \u00a0you toucheth the apple of His eye.\u00a0 He says we are His workmanship.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0How about that? \u00a0We are His greatest work of art.\u00a0 We are so valuable that He tells us we are the apple of His eye!<\/p>\n

Ephesians 2:10<\/b>\u00a0 says \u201cFor we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto<\/span> good works, which God hath<\/span> before ordained that we should walk in them.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n

Did you know there is a Master at work in<\/span> you?\u00a0 Did you know your life is a priceless work of art? He is the Master Artist, who is painting, sculpting, chiseling away each day as He envisions you to be.\u00a0\u00a0With every stroke He is shaping your identity in His image.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0You can depend on His Masters Art Degree.\u00a0\u00a0 You will experience every day as He chisels at you that what you end up with is a \u201cone of a kind\u201d\u00a0 \u201cnot for sale\u201d masterpiece.<\/p>\n

Do you have a hard time believing you are God\u2019s masterpiece?\u00a0 That you are special to Him?\u00a0 If you question this at all, then that means ol<\/span>\u2019 slewfoot <\/span>(<\/span>Satan) is trying to convince you otherwise.\u00a0 Don\u2019t let him come in and fill your head and heart up with all kinds of lies.\u00a0 This is definitely not what our God thinks of us!<\/p>\n

How about taking<\/span>\u00a0a trip to the closest mirror in your house\u2026<\/span>go\u2026<\/span>right now\u2026<\/span>then come back\u2026.<\/span>and take a long hard look while you are there.<\/p>\n

OK, so what did you see?\u00a0 I pray you saw a beautiful cherished creation, a treasure, a masterpiece!\u00a0 Because that is what God created when He made you.\u00a0 But maybe you saw some things when you looked in that mirror that you didn\u2019t like.<\/p>\n

Think of your life when you look in the mirror as a canvas that began empty with nothing there but as soon as you were born He began a new work in you creating an astounding depiction of His glory and grace.\u00a0\u00a0 I know sometimes you may think “But wait,<\/span> God…this part of my life is a waste;\u00a0\u00a0don\u2019t draw that!” \u00a0 But remember these are some special strokes and chiseling that God is having to apply as He is growing us, changing us into His special masterpiece.<\/p>\n

Are you willing to let Him paint, chisel you until He gets you right where He wants\/needs you to be?<\/p>\n

\u00a0You<\/b> are His most prized possession and what matters most to Him is you<\/b>!<\/p>\n

So why not let Him be the creative Master artist that He is and let Him transform you so that you reveal His beauty, His glory and His love, His MASTERPIECE!<\/p>\n

A lovely work that comes straight from the Master\u2019s hand.<\/p>\n
