Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
\nServe the Lord with gladness!\u00a0 Come into His Presence with singing!
\nKnow that the Lord, He is God!\u00a0 It is He who made us, and we are His;
\nwe are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
\nEnter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise!
\nGive thanks to Him; bless His name!
\nFor the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever,
\nand His faithfulness to all generations.
\nPsalm 100<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u2018Make a joyful noise!\u2019\u00a0 Oh, you don\u2019t have to tell me twice!\u00a0 (And sometimes it is just that\u2014a joyful noise.)\u00a0 Do we not just love to sing our praises to the Lord God?!?\u00a0 We have so many, many reasons to praise Him, to thank Him, to bless His Holy Name.<\/p>\n

Here in Psalm 100, verse 5 offers three extremely compelling reasons to praise Him:<\/p>\n

He is good<\/h3>\n

The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble.
\nHe cares for\u00a0 those who trust in Him.
\nNahum 1:7<\/p>\n

This we know…in fact, isn’t there\u00a0a praise chorus that we love to sing: \u2018God is good ALL the time!\u00a0 And ALL the time, God is good!\u2019<\/p>\n

His love endures forever<\/h3>\n

Give thanks to the God of Heaven for His steadfast love endures forever.
\nPsalms 136:26<\/p>\n

Twenty-six (yes, 26!) times in Psalm 136, this praise is exclaimed!\u00a0 (Here\u2019s a link<\/a> to read the whole psalm.) \u00a0Throughout the entire history of mankind from Adam & Eve, all the way along through the Scriptures, we read of the myriad of ways that our Great God has manifested His steadfast love.\u00a0 AND He has made promise after promise to His children (us! you and me!) that His love will endure for eternity!<\/p>\n

He is faithful to all generations<\/h3>\n

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments.
\nDeuteronomy 7:9<\/p>\n

What a promise of hope He has made\u2014His covenant of love to those who love Him and obey!\u00a0 Our God always brings to pass His promises!\u00a0 What a faithful God!<\/p>\n

Dear Lord,
\nWe love to make a joyful noise, Lord, singing Your praises!\u00a0 You are the Almighty God Who deserves all the praise there is to give!\u00a0 Thank You for Your faithfulness, Your goodness, and Your love!\u00a0 HalleluJAH!\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n
