Like me, I am sure you are thinking, &#8220;I would find the time!&#8221; because I know that&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>My life would change<\/li>\n<li>I would never HAVE to work again<\/li>\n<li>My kids college would be paid<\/li>\n<li>I would never have to worry about money again<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Without a doubt, picking up that money would become a <b>PRIORITY<\/b> that day because of the benefits I would receive in finding 45 minutes in my day.<\/p>\n<p>How often do you say \u201cI don\u2019t have time to exercise?\u201d\u00a0 Let\u2019s be honest &#8212; is it that you don\u2019t have the time or you have not made exercise a priority?<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">WHAT IS A PRIORITY?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>A priority has been defined as <b>something afforded or deserving attention.\u00a0 <\/b><\/p>\n<p>The truth is we will make time for the things that are a PRIORITY to us, like picking up a million dollars. We will rearrange schedules, cancel meetings, or say no to certain things so that it can be done.<\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATION? <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Would exercise become a priority if you were motivated for the right reasons?\u00a0 Before I design a specific program for my client, we establish a concrete motivator.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">It<\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> is important to know that what motivated you in the past may not motivate you now.<\/span>\u00a0 For example, the only reason I exercised 20 years ago was to \u201chopefully\u201d look a certain way in my jeans, although it did not exactly work.\u00a0 Today at age 41, while the jeans do matter (let\u2019s be honest) it is not my only motivation for exercise.\u00a0 If I use \u201cthe jeans\u201d as my only motivation, exercise would not be a priority.<\/p>\n<p>What does motivate me is focusing on Scripture and remembering that when I exercise I am<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Bringing honor to God <\/b>with my body (I Corinthians 6:19-20)<\/li>\n<li><b>Feeling close to God<\/b> as He strengthens me during my exercise (Isaiah 45:5) and brings me:<\/li>\n<li><b>Less stress<\/b> (Philippians 4:6)<\/li>\n<li><b>More peace<\/b> (Psalm 34:14)<\/li>\n<li>Feeling good and in <b>good health<\/b> (Proverbs 3:8)<\/li>\n<li><b>Strong <\/b>enough to do what I am called to do (Proverbs 31:17)<\/li>\n<li>More <b>energetic<\/b> at work (Proverbs 31:17)<\/li>\n<li>Positive with a <b>better attitude<\/b> (Proverbs 17:22 )<\/li>\n<li>Feeling c<b>onfident <\/b>about myself (Psalm 197:14)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What will motivate you today?\u00a0 Before jumping into the next exercise craze, ask yourself the real questions before starting an exercise program.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What is my motivation?<\/li>\n<li>Have I made it a priority?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"center\">If just like taking the time to pick up your money would change your life,<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">how would your life change if you were motivated to make exercise a priority?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><strong>To Your Health &amp; Wellness,\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><em>Crystal Bush Breaux<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">Wellness Coach\/Fitness Designer<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Have you ever wondered what you should do when starting an exercise program, such as:\u00a0 What works, what doesn\u2019t work?\u00a0 Should I do cardio or lift weights?\u00a0 How long, how fast, and what do I wear?\u00a0 These are all important questions and need the right answers to achieve your personal health and fitness.
