Girlfriends Coffee Hour Statement of Belief<\/b><\/p>\n
We are an Interdenominational ministry.\u00a0 We are called to do our part to cross over denominational man-made barriers that are so prevalent in the church today.\u00a0 This is not to say that we are going to unequally yoke ourselves with anybody who does not acknowledge the deity and Lordship of Jesus Christ, but it is to say that our fellowship of believers will not be hindered by the traditions and religious spirits that have kept us apart in the past.\u00a0What can the church really accomplish if they link hands together and serve the Master.\u00a0\u00a0 God is not interested in denominations. He is interested in His personal relationship with each of us.<\/p>\n
What constitutes a believer?\u00a0 Anybody from any nation, from any culture, from any denomination that believes in their heart and confesses with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord!<\/p>\n
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error, and the final authority for faith and life. \u00a0The Bible teaches there is one God, the Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each possessing all the attributes of Deity.<\/p>\n
We are called to share the Good News with those who are lost, brokenhearted and in bondage to sin.\u00a0 We are called to love one another.\u00a0 We are called to hold each other accountable to sin in our lives.\u00a0 But, we are not called to judge others or convict others for their beliefs, only God can do that.<\/p>\n
We believe God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they rebelled against God by sinfully going their own way, thus eternally separating themselves from Him. Restoration and forgiveness from the rebellion of sin comes only through God\u2019s saving grace, not human effort, and must be received personally by repentance and faith.<\/p>\n
We believe Jesus Christ, fully man and fully God, lived a sinless life on earth and paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute. \u00a0His sacrifice on the cross provides salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in Him. \u00a0He rose from the dead three days later, ascended to heaven, and is the only mediator between God and man.<\/p>\n
We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Christ and to convict, equip, and empower believers for personal growth. \u00a0Our role is to glorify God and to be a reflection of the love of Christ.<\/p>\n
We believe Jesus will return to earth, and every individual will experience a bodily resurrection and the judgment. \u00a0Those forgiven through Christ will enjoy eternal fellowship with God. \u00a0Those who rejected Him will experience eternal separation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
